I was asked this question the other day by a client and it made me pause.

If you go over your macros by 100 calories once/month or even once/week:

So often we get so upset that we went over our macros or calories that we just say F it and turn it into a 1000 calorie night multiple nights in a row.

Take a step back, look at the BIG picture, be patient and just track as normal the next day. You didn’t ruin all of your progress or waste your entire week.

Also want to note: even if we do everything “perfect” & be in a deficit, the scale may still go up tomorrow.

Our bodies are MUCH MORE complex than we give it credit for. Understand that weight fluctuations happen but is the trend overall downward?
