🤔Do I think most people should track their intake when trying to lose weight?
👉🏻Absolutely.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s easier to get to our destination (weight loss) if we have a GPS taking us there.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
😬But I also know a lotttt of people who aren’t willing to do that yet, and that’s okay!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When we focus on generally just moving more throughout the day,
getting in resistance training 3-5 times per week and eating fiber based foods,
we tend to be taking in less calories than we’re burning, meaning we’re in a calorie deficit
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💃🏼Which can lead to weight loss.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
THEN once people feel comfortable with those small daily habit changes & start seeing results,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
they typically become more interested in their health, which leads them to WANT to learn tracking so they can continue to progress.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🗣I will always be an advocate for tracking your intake to speed up weight loss but if you’re not moving very much currently, & eating lots of packaged foods or fast food then simply making the above changes will start you out on a great foot until you’re ready to take it even further 🙌🏻

🚶♀️Do you feel like you’ve been moving more or less since the quarantine started?
