Tracking macros takes WORK in the beginning, I’ll be the first to admit it. It takes a few months to get a handle on, and in our society of Amazon Prime, we want results in 2 days 😅
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But just like riding a bike or learning a new job, after a few months of continuing the positive habits, it becomes second nature.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I can preplan my days in under 4 minutes flat or look at most food and know it’s nutrition (& no, I don’t allow any certain food to make me “feel bad”. If knowing the calorie content of your foods makes you feel bad then that’s a whole separate issue 💕).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We make food choices multiple times per day, hundreds of choices per week, so instead of keeping ourselves STUCK, we could use those choices to finally reach our goals 🙏🏻
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Leaning portion sizes, learning the importance of serving sizes on nutrition labels and how it all relates to YOUR body will absolutely change the game for you, if you’re in the group I mentioned above.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It only gets obsessive if you make it that way by staying in a calorie deficit for too long (this will be a topic for another day).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Tracking our intake keeps us accountable and helps give us a roadmap to reach our destination of weight loss.🥳
It also helps us better understand our current habits surrounding nutrition which, for most of my clients, is alwayssss eye opening!
