There’s SO much noise out there with how to lose weight.

I totally get that & felt like I was lost foreverrr!

👉🏻In order to lose weight, we have to be eating LESS than the amount of calories we’re currently eating.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🤔So step 1 is ALWAYS to find out how much you’re currently eating.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This can be done 2 ways:
1️⃣ Downloading a tracking app like MyFitnessPal, and start entering in all of the food that you eat throughout the day.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🚫(Do NOT go by what MFP says to eat, simply track everything you’re CURRENTLY eating to see your total weekly calories.)
Do this for 2 weeks.

2️⃣use a formula to find your total maintenance calories by going to TDEE.com & entering your info (or comment ME! 🙋🏼♀️ below & I will send you a formula to calculate yourself).

🚻These are your “maintenance calories” or the calories your body needs to maintain its current state.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💡In order to lose weight, we can decrease total calories by 10%, 15% or 20%.

⚖️I typically recommend starting around 15% for a few weeks instead of jumping right to 20% bc you’ll plateau quickly.
