How can I take my macro understanding of fats, carbs and proteins and slightly tweak my meals to save a few hundred cals at each meal and snack?

(For example instead of a peppermint mocha with whip from Starbucks }440 calories!!} swap its for a grande coffee with 1 pump peppermint, 2 pumps skinny mocha and splash of almond milk. Saves 400 calories 😱)
