Trust me, I’d rather fill my calories with cookies instead of an egg white omelette most days but that wouldn’t help my nutrition.

When it comes to weight loss, we want to keep protein HIGH bc protein:

-makes us feel more full throughout the day
-boosts our immune system
-keeps muscle mass as much as possible & ⬆️ muscle mass = ⬆️ metabolism
-has a higher thermic effect of food = the body burns more calories to break it down
-helps us stay lean!

♻️I recommend using a combo of low fat protein sources, higher fat protein sources AND plant based sources to help boost daily protein intake & manage other macros.
