Ooooof. Lots of shame stories today. Ain’t nobody got time for that!
One holiday weekend “splurge” will notttt ruin long term progress.
You know what does? Giving up.
☀️Dust yourself off,
☀️meal prep/meal plan for the rest of the week to start feeling great,
☀️get some bomb sleep tonight,
☀️plan out 3-4 lifts for the rest of the week to use those extra cals for a PR,
☀️remind yourself that you’re a capable woman who knows better
☀️& hit a new goal this upcoming weekend.
🙈It’s easy to give up.
🙈It’s easy to say “well I over indulged this weekend so I might as well say screw it the rest of the summer”
…but come September you’re gonna wish you hadn’t 💯.
Take it one day at a time, one lift at a time, one weekend at a time. Long term results come from showing up for yourself week after week, month after month.
(Ps this doesn’t mean throw everything out the window every single weekend-THAT is when results stop coming).
