Left was senior prom. Never played a sport (besides dance), never worked out, didn’t care too much nutrition or exercise.

Middle was before our wedding 4-5 years ago. Started slowly lifting weights. Followed a meal plan blindly for 9 months, definitely got lean but had NO idea what I was doing & was hungry all the time. Gained 20lbs in 6 weeks after the wedding bc I was done with meal plans! & didn’t know how to go back to “normal”.

Right was last week after years of understanding macros, understanding the importance of gym programming, going into a deficit then getting back to maintenance for the majority of the year to continue developing, building, growing and evolving into a healthier, more knowledgeable ME.

❣️Your journey should be always changing.
☀️Your goals should always be evolving.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Nutrition & lifting are certainly not my whole life, but I will say that understanding both of these things have drastically changed my life for the better.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❌Having a meal plan helped me get started but kept me stuck.
✅Learning macros helped take me to the next level, helped me understand food and MY body so that I never had to rely on anyone else again to help me “lose weight” or “tone up”.

🟣Yes tracking is time consuming in the beginning.
🟣Yes tracking is like learning a new language .
🟣Yes tracking takes discipline and sometimes some sacrifice.
🟣Yes tracking can be annoying.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👁🗨But learning to track opened up EVERYTHING. I no longer felt that I was stuck eating the same bland foods over & over again forever.
Tracking helped me find peace with my meals, & gives me confidence in my choices.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
📢Don’t you want to feel empowered by your choices?!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Nowhere near where my potential even starts at, always excited for the next chapter.
KEEP GOING, keep researching, keep learning, keep evolving-it’s all part of the process ♥️
