We all know that protein is important, but it’s ALSO important to understand the other 2 macros: carbs and fats.

“High protein” cereal that has 2g more protein than the original 🙄
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“High protein” snacks/meals like this that have 37 grams of fat!!!
(This is a HUGE chunk of women’s fats when dieting)

💪🏻You could easily get 28 grams of protein from 2 Greek yogurts with 0 fats and minimal carbs.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m not saying these packages are “bad”,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✅but if you’re trying to lose weight, know that protein is important & think you’re choosing the “better” option when choosing this,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❌Then you’ll get super frustrated when you don’t lose weight because it’s still a high calorie choice.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍔(As much fat as a cheeseburger!).

When you learn what macros
(fats, carbs and proteins)
YOUR body needs
(at maintenance & in a deficit)
then you can be MUCH more informed…
