When we demonize certain foods, we create unhealthy mental relationships with food in general. When you have a balanced relationship with food, it’s all soul food 🤘🏼

🍩I LOVE having a donut every once in a while and at the same time, I LOVE fueling up on vitamins & nutrients from these veggies.

🥗Do you find yourself only craving junk food? The more you incorporate healthier foods into your current diet (instead of getting rid of everything delish that you love), the more you create a balanced palette.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🙏🏻It does not have to be one or the other.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌶Try getting creative & adding more whole foods the majority of the time, and still allowing yourself to understand that one donut will not make you gain weight, and that you CAN fit it in your deficit macros every now and again (not every day 😜)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The guilt that is associated with it which spirals into “oh well i already screwed up” that lasts for days on end CAN lead to weight gain if you let that negative mindset run wild.
Enjoy it and get back to your normal meals 🤟🏼

I posted this last year today and thought it was a super important topic to revisit 🍩
