I used to think the only veggies & fruits I should eat were broccoli, kale & apples 😅 anyone else?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There are MANY vegetable options to choose from including:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Root- potato, sweet potato, yam
2. Cruciferous- cabbage, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts
3. Leafy green- spinach, collard greens
4. Stem plant- celery and asparagus
5. Allium- onion, garlic and shallots …andddd so many more!
Legumes: green beans, snow peas, chickpeas ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As for fruits: avocado, tomatoes, peppers, berries, mango, pineapple, oranges, watermelon, cucumber, zucchini
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The main thing I notice as a coach is that the majority of people go entire days without even eating ONE veggie or fruit 🤪
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I started slowly adding ins veggies to my normal meals and experimenting with new ones over time! This is also what I teach my clients.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Instead of trying to force yourself to “only eat green vegetables”, try slowly adding IN some fiber & nutrients via different veggies or fruits 🙌🏻

What’s one way you like to “veg out” aka add veggies into your daily meals!?

Ps just so we’re all clear: all of these listed are all sources of carbohydrates & a friendly reminder that carbohydrates aren’t bad for you ♥️
