Trying any challenge that I could get my hands on or thinking “I only need 4 weeks to get into shape”

Lollllll 🙅🏼♀️🙅🏼♀️🙅🏼♀️🙅🏼♀️🙅🏼♀️😅
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🥳Learning macros gave me FOOD FREEDOM.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
😝It helped me realize that 4 weeks to get into the “best shape of my life” before a trip was absolutely RUINING my metabolism
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉🏻and that I would never get to where I wanted unless I realized that it takes months and years to continue evolving into my “best self” (which is always changing!!)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❌I no longer “diet” before a trip.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❌I no longer hate my existence for 4 weeks trying to cut X Y and Z out of my diet and have the most ABSOLUTE PEACE knowing that
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🙏🏻It’s about what we do YEAR ROUND that counts.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🗣Having this cookie or the other treats I enjoyed on my vacation this week will not “hold me back”, but the other 51 weeks of the year
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-where I train consistently 4-5 times/week
-eat “moderately” well (80/20 rule)
-track macros the majority of the time
-enjoy MY version of balance
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Are what count much, much more ♥️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Stop holding yourself back “dieting” before a trip and get into the habit of training and understanding macros year round for a LIFESTYLE approach 💪🏻🙌🏻
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ps this dark chocolate cookie was 1000% worth it 🍪
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Are you team cookie or team brownie?
🥰I can’t decide
