As a nutrition coach, I NEVER want my clients to feel shamed by what their eating,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And ESPECIALLY during a global pandemic trauma situation, adding MORE guilt can cause even more problems.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So, instead of constant restriction, I recommend adding IN some goodness in the form of fiber (fruits & veggies) and lean proteins.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Both fiber & protein fill us up more, leading to potentially stopping us from overeating
(NOT bingeing-there’s a big mental component difference here)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
AND they help with digestion, gut health, immune health 😍, energy levels & just FEELING overall a bit better.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👏🏻No guilt, just goodness.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍪Eat your cookies fo sho!
I just bought Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate crunchy cookies and they are 🔥🔥🔥
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍳And maybe throw in an apple or some berries with your breakfast of toast & eggs
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍳Or some carrots or bell peppers to your taco Tuesday
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Over time, these little healthy additions add up to feeling better which leads to performing better & living a slightly healthier lifestyle 🥰
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❣️Who’s gonna try this this week? 🍉
