I know it’s SUPER tempting to try a “juice cleanse”‘or cutting out all “carbs” after the holidays but PLEASE do not do this to yourself.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💪🏻Create an exercise routine you can stick to (3 days/wk), cook most of your own meals, prioritize protein & focus on water intake.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉🏻In 1 week of simply doing those 4 things after a few weeks of crazy chaos, you will automatically start feeling better.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
♥️It is my mission to help people understand that if we simply create a sustainable routine that we can ALWAYS go back to, we realize that the extremes are absolutely not needed.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
😫Juice cleanses set you back even further (minimal fiber, minimal calories, minimal protein, causing you to feel sluggish & not having the energy to workout or even move as much throughout the day)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
😫& cutting all carbs is unrealistic. Try swapping the carbs you probably have been eating more of this month (cookies, lasagnas, etc that have high carbs AND high fats) for things like potatoes or oats so that you can stay fueled while creating new lifestyle habits (mentioned above).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🥳Our bodies need fats, carbs, & proteins (macros) in order to thrive so learning about what foods make up those macronutrients is essential for understanding how to keep weight off!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Supplements, cleanses and meal plans do not sustain long term weight loss-trust me I’ve been there 🙅🏼♀️
💃🏼Changing our understanding of nutrition/macros and exercise DOES 🥰
