I’ve touched on this before but it’s a very unpopular YET CRUCIAL topic to discuss.

Fake-keto is ruining SO MANY women’s metabolisms, mindsets and body’s.

I’ve had many clients come to me after rounds & rounds of “keto”- miserable, demonizing carbs & incredibly low energy.
•⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Being in TRUE ketosis absolutely is a great way to live and as an RN I understand the beautiful benefits of it.
•⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
BUT the truth of the matter is that 99.9% of people who do it do it incorrectly,
-have absolutely NO clue about macros so has no idea what foods actually have carbohydrates in them (btw-there are no “free foods”),
-and miss out in soooo many incredible nutrients from eating carbohydrates.
•⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The first question I always ask when someone talks to me about keto is:
“When was the last time you tested your ketones”
-& pretty much everyone always says either “what?” Or “never” 😳
•⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Lastly, you don’t just “end keto”. If you start keto-you’ll need to do it for the rest of your life. There is no “after keto”, so keep that in mind before jumping on this fad diet 🙅🏼♀️
