Had this self isolation happened in 2016, I’d be screwed.

❎I had minimal motivation
❎No long term goals
❎Minimal understanding of macros or guidelines to keep myself healthy
❎No routine, leaving lots of time for unhealthy habits & thoughts
❎And most importantly my “why” was very blurry.
❎No positive habits

In the 4 years between these pictures, it isn’t the weight difference that matters

It’s the HABITS.

The not-so-sexy habits of
✴️Routinely working out.
✴️Routinely checking in with someone.
✴️Routinely staying around my macros WHILE working towards my current goal for THIS season in my life (weight loss after 3 months of surplus over the winter).
✴️Routinely working on developing better habits for overall health.
✴️overcoming obstacles

💯I’m proud to say that the habits I’ve instilled over the last several years have been proving themselves hella useful right now.

💛We don’t have to be perfect or drill sergeants in order to show ourselves love: we just have to keep showing up.
💯Self love comes in ALL forms, with the most beneficial being stepping up when we need it.
