I think the main issue, is that people tend to associate growth with “easy”….but it’s not.
🦋The caterpillar essentially has to give up its former self to become a butterfly. Likewise, we have to give up certain pieces of ourselves to become more of who we are meant to be.

🦋That “shedding” of our old selves is damn difficult. It takes introspection, honesty with ourselves about the dark parts of ourselves that need to be left behind, & patience in knowing that we will likely have to be uncomfortable for a while.

🦋As silly as it sounds-my long hair was “safe”. I’ve had it for 10 years & lately I’ve been feeling the stirrings of immense change. I’m not the same woman that I was last year, 2 years ago & definitely not 10 years ago. This physical transformation is the manifestation of the changes I’ve made to my life over the last 2 years. Changes that weren’t easy, changes that I thought were going to break me.

🦋Are you using your time wisely? Are you changing and evolving? Are you allowing yourself to sit in uncomfortable situations in order to grow?
It’s okay to change; in fact-it’s pretty damn necessary in order to create an incredible life (bc remember! YOU are the only thing holding you back), so buckle up & get to work 🌻

Will you choose YOU this week? What is one thing you’ll do for your future self this week?
