I LOVED this question from one of my clients and here is the gist of my response:
Short answer: maybe for like 2-3 weeks?
our bodies will plateau very quickly after the initial quick weight drop
which = 🚫 more weight loss
Which = frustration.
Cutting calories drastically also causes:
🚫shitty workouts which leads to shitty muscle growth which decreases BMR
🚫hormone imbalances from nutritional deficiencies (mood swings, loss of men’s trail cycle, thinning of hair, loss of sex drive)
❗️and ultimately bingeing tendencies or negative mental associations with food.

Start with a 10-15% calorie drop and go from there as needed and ALWAYS assess adherence before dropping cals.
