🎂Helping women understand that they do NOT have to live at low calories is one of the most rewarding experiences for me & eye opening/life changing experiences for my clients.

😬Client A came to me after tracking macros for a while consistently in a deficit. She knew vaguely about reverse dieting but was afraid to try it on her own after all of the hard work she put in losing the weight.

For the first 2 weeks we started in my calculated deficit to see exactly what she was taking in. Then we started her slow & steady reverse diet:
Aka adding calories back IN to our daily macros to get up to maintenance calories.

Example:
1600 calories at the end of the deficit
2100 calorie TDEE (maintenance) calories needed
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We start where she ended in her deficit and slowly add in either 50-100 calories via carbs or fats every week or every other week.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💕She’s now eating 300+ calories more DAILY & aren’t done yet! LOST 8lbs total and over 6 inches.

(NOTE: some women don’t continue losing weight in a reverse & may even fluctuate up about 1-4lbs but the point of it is to keep off the majority of your weight loss!)

💪🏻Her muscles are POPPINNNNNN YALL (look at that definition!) because her body is getting the carbs it NEEDS to thrive.

❗️Don’t neglect the reverse diet!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you’re someone who’s constantly eating less than 1500-1600 calories yet lifting weights & are active most days of the week-you need to reverse diet.
👉🏻(Note I said LIFTING WEIGHTS. Your body needs proper physical stimulus to put the extra calories to use. If you’re not lifting then a reverse diet won’t make you look “toned” bc you’re not “toning” (building) the muscle underneath.)

Walking my clients through the reverse dieting process is always hard for them mentally because it goes against everything society throws at us about “eat less/move more”, but having a coach to guide you through it can relieve all of that anxiety!
