True self care is the process of working on these categories of life over time:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When I ask people for goals, most state a physical goal.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Which is great! Wanting to get healthier is FANTASTIC & I love it!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But it’s extremely important to realize that if we don’t also work on things like
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌟environment (who we surround ourselves with)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌟or stress mastery (finding ways of coping with stress rather than emotional eating etc)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌟or self esteem (we cannot progress physically if we do not believe in our ability to succeed)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌟or nutrition (nutrition is literally the absolute key to physical changes)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌟 and all of the rest of these categories.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🤯Then any “goal” that we have will fall by the wayside when obstacles enter our lives.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They all interconnect to make up our behaviors and thought patterns which result in our ACTIONS which make up our lives.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
